1. Single Purpose & Data Minimization

Structured AI operates under a strict Single Purpose Policy: extracting webpage content or user-selected text snippets to generate structured summaries, study notes, and key takeaways using web-based AI tools.

2. Information We Process

To provide core summarization features, Structured AI processes the following data:

Webpage Content & Selected Text: When you explicitly click the "Summarize Page" button or right-click to summarize selected text, the extension extracts text from your active tab solely to generate your requested summary.
Local Extension Settings: Preferences such as your preferred AI model (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), output length (Short, Medium, Long), and floating button toggles are saved locally in your browser's chrome.storage.local.

3. Data We DO NOT Collect

We believe in absolute user privacy. Structured AI does NOT collect, store, or sell:

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.
Browsing history, network monitoring data, or telemetry.
Financial, payment, credit card, or health information.
Account credentials or authentication passwords.

4. Third-Party AI Services

Structured AI does not require API keys or paid developer subscriptions. Summarization requests are routed directly to your active accounts on supported web AI providers (OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini) directly within your browser. All AI processing is governed by the respective privacy policies of those providers.

5. Data Disclosure & Sales Certification

In accordance with Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, we certify that:

We do NOT sell or transfer user data to third parties.
We do NOT use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
We do NOT use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

6. Security

All data processing occurs locally within your Chrome browser environment. No external servers operated by us store your private reading content.
